The world is filled with endless beauty and wonder. It can teach us about ourselves and about the creatures around us. It’s limitless, as is the wonder it provides. Curiosity is a beauty within all of us and it pushes us to learn more about ourselves and our worlds… to keep yearning to know all of the vast unknowable things the world has to teach us.

my values and dreams are what guide my life, my heritage is what informs it.
It’s important to take pride in where we come from, and a family name can be a huge reminder of that.
Six generations back, my “Grandma Gatewood” was the both the first female and the oldest individual to hike the Appalachian Trail. She had a love for the beauty of the region and is a strong and true symbol of grit and determination - a great foreshadowing of my absolute adoration of mother nature, hiking and strong and gritty women.
